Strategic DEI Integration

Embarking on a Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) initiative can feel daunting. Ferdman Consulting supports organizations in the design, planning, and implementation of these initiatives.

This might include supporting organizations to measure and assess their employees’ experience of inclusion, developing customized Board, leadership, or staff retreats/workshops to plan and examine DEI efforts, creating a DEI strategic plan alongside organization leadership, suggesting and implementing targeted actions to address DEI issues, and measuring & evaluating the success of these actions.

**Ferdman Consulting specializes in Latinx identity and leadership development. Our work on Latino and Latina leadership, grounded in a complex and multi-faceted model of Latino/a identity orientations, focuses on supporting Latinx individuals to be more effective and inclusive leaders, in ways that build on their strengths and reflect their cultural identities and values, while avoiding and resisting stereotypes and generalizations.

Workplace Inclusion Inventory™

The Workplace Inclusion Inventory™️ was developed using Ferdman Consulting’s inclusion framework, and allows organizations, DEI experts, and others to measure the experience of inclusion across the organization, gleaning real-time and actionable data as a result. We provide coaching to leverage and maximize talent in your organization.

Discussion about the Inclusive Leadership Proram that Bernardo created and directed at UCLA Anderson School of Management Executive Education.

Bernardo worked with the leadership of Planned Parenthood of the Pacific Southwest to design and implement their DEI strategy and to provide DEI workshops for leadership, staff, and Board. He and Kumea Shorter-Gooden facilitated a DEI retreat for Planned Parenthood Federation of America’s national board. And he worked with a number of Planned Parenthood affiliates and their boards to develop their DEI strategies and deepen DEI learning.

Ferdman Consulting facilitated and supported CalEPA’s Department of Toxic Substance Control’s Diversity and Inclusion Work Group.
