Thursday, March 24, 2011, 3:45 – 5:15 pm, Workshop W6-A at the Multicultural Forum on Workplace Diversity

Bernardo Ferdman, Ph.D. Professor, Alliant International University
CLE credits pending

The session will combine presentation and discussion of the Ferdman and Gallegos Latino/a Identity Orientations Model and its implications with an opportunity for participants to delve into their own perspectives and experiences with regard to Latino/a identities and to derive their own applications of the model in the context of those perspectives and experiences.

Ultimately, the goal is for participants to leave with a more nuanced and complex view of U.S. Latino/as and a sense of how the variety of Latino/a experience and identity could and/or should be addressed in the context of diversity and inclusion initiatives and integration within organizations.
