Dr. Bernardo Ferdman, interviewed by The Center for the Study of the Workplace, shares his insights regarding Multidimensional Diversity. He is professor in the Organizational Psychology programs at Alliant International University. He consults, writes, speaks and teaches on diversity and inclusion, multicultural leadership, Latinos/Latinas in the workplace and bringing one’s whole self to work.

Dr. Ferdman acknowledges the importance of having a multilingual workforce, but firms and employees need more to succeed in an international environment. In addition to learning multiple languages, they have to understand cross-cultural differences, such as values and competencies.
